What you should know about French

French is estimated as having 115 million native speakers and a further 190 million speakers as a second language in over 50 countries across all continents.

French is an official language in 29 countries Apart from France, these include Canada, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Haiti, and numerous countries in Western and Central Africa. It is an official language in all United Nations agencies and in a large number of international organizations. It is the second official language of the European Union, the European Court of Justice and the European Council.

In the Bachelor's Programme two courses are offered per semester, in the Master's Programme one course per semester is on offer.
