Mission

The SOWI-Zentrum für Wirtschaftssprachen not only helps all those aiming for an international career to perfect their language competence and learn the necessary business or financial vocabulary, it also helps students gain important insight into a variety of cultural backgrounds. 

According to EU language policies, the goal is a Europe where everyone can speak at least two other languages in addition to their own mother tongue.

Also worth remembering is the fact that no matter what their age, plurilingual individuals are always likely to be one step ahead of their monolingual peers. The ability to switch from one language to another also improves cognitive skills and sustains mental agility.
